And at Dogs Bay Country Cottage , we believe every dog deserves a day of pure doggie bliss—whether they’re tiny, medium, or built like a small bear. 😄

The Cottage is a fun, enriching daycare experience where your fur friend can enjoy a day packed with friends, play, and activities designed to keep dogs happy, balanced, and engaged—not just running around in chaos.

You can drop your pup off for a day of meeting new friends and joining in on daily activities like pool parties, spa days, Paw-lympics, Story Time, Nature Walks, “Kibble” TV & Pupcorn (perfect for rainy days and snuggles!), Manners Matter, Bubble Mania, Sandbox Treasure Hunts, and of course… lots and lots of love—just to name a few!

For the same reason you’d take your kids to Crazy Bounce or Craig’s Cruisers, you should bring your dog to Dogs Bay for a day of getting to just be a dog…have fun, burn energy, and come home happy-tired.

Who Can Play

Great candidates for daycare are healthy, well-socialized dogs who truly enjoy being around other dogs and seek interaction whenever they can.

At Dogs Bay, we welcome dogs of all sizes—but size is only one small piece of the puzzle.
We also carefully consider each dog’s:

– Temperament
– Energy level
– Play style
– Social skills
– Comfort in a group setting

If you think your fur friend may be a great fit for daycare, simply fill out our Daycare Enrollment Form. On their first day, we’ll do a careful assessment and introduction to make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and set up for success.

Required Vaccines

Rabies (1 or 3 year)
Distemper Combo (1 or 3 year)
Bordetella (annually)
Heartworm Test (annually for dogs over 1 year old—whether they’re on prevention or not)
Fecal Test (required every 6 months)

When you make your new friend reservation, the Dogs Bay Team will contact your vet to confirm vaccines and let you know if anything is missing—or if your tail-wagger is cleared to come play!

Male dogs over 9 months old must be neutered to attend daycare.
Female dogs may not attend daycare if they are in any part of their heat cycle (about 21 days).

Your First Day

You will need to fill out a new friend reservation, so we have all the information for a successful first day!

All dogs must come on a quick release collar! We have these collars for sale in various sizes in our lobby for $3-5. If you come without a quick release collar, one will be added to your invoice for the day!

You will be greeted by a staff member who will ask you to sign in at the check in desk. All new friends get a complimentary report card on their first day and a “new friend bag” with some goodies to show our appreciation for your business.

Once you have checked in, we will begin the introduction process, where your fur friend will meet his/her new BFFs!

We know your fur kids first day at school is a big one, so check out our Facebook Page to see “first day” pictures. We encourage you to “Like” our page as we post daily pictures and important updates.

Your first visit is FREE. Payment is expected at the time of service for future visits: We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

Please Note: In the event of inclement weather, if Holland Public Schools are closed, Doggie Daycare will be closed.
